Almost two years into his solo music career, Massachusetts native Liam Coleman has created a name for himself in the Massachusetts music scene and has caught the attention of other artists from around the country.
Since the day he could hold something in his hands as a baby, he turned it into a guitar or a drumstick. From standing in front of the TV at the age of 2 rocking out to Green Day’s “Bullet in A Bible” concert DVD to drum lessons at the age of 6, to performing at every gathering for family and friends, to school jazz band concerts, Liam has literally been performing since the day he was born.
He was the drummer of the Worcester based rock band “Live the Illusion”. In his sophomore year of high school, he ventured out on a solo career in music playing many local venues in MA. He has performed for the Sofar Concert Series, has been featured on country radio stations, 98.9 NASH ICON and Country 102.5 as their “Catch of the Week”. He has been interviewed on several music podcasts from around the country, including one from Scotland.
In October 2019 he released his debut acoustic EP titled “The Beginning”. That December he joined "Cloud 9" Artist Development based in Nashville TN. In February 2020 Liam was nominated for the Worcester Music Awards in the category of "Best Up and Comer".
His new EP, "Road to Nashville" will be released as singles with the first song release on September 18, 2020. The EP was recorded in Nashville TN by long time Producer Ken Royster of Direct Image Studio. The man and studio responsible for Luke Combs "Hurricane".
"I absolutely love playing music. Nothing makes me happier than that feeling when you hit the stage and you are able to make a crowd visibly happy. That makes me happy".
